What is that dark stain?

I have always been a little turned off by guys whose anal area seemed to be permanently stained brown. Even though I know they are probably as clean as they can possibly be, I am still reluctant to engage in my favorite activity--rimming.

Then I saw a snapshot of my own anus and butt crack for the first time and realized that I too have a little bit of that stain there, though not nearly as bad as I have seen in others.

Is there any way to remove or at least reduce that staining?

The darker color is not from staining or feces but a normal skin hyperpigmentation that people commonly have in the area for a variety or reasons.

It can just be completely natural or the result or prior infection (an old bout of fungus or crotch rot) or just from the cheeks rubbing together. Just because it is dark does not mean it is dirty or unclean or infected.

Please relax and if you keep the lights off you won't see anything. If you really want skin bleaching you can talk to a dermatologist but make sure that there is no chance it will make the condition worse. Take care.

Spit or swallow?

I am an HIV-positive guy; is there any additional risk to swallowing my own cum?

None at all, so drink up if you like.

Guilt over rimming...

I gave a rim job to someone for the first time last night. When I woke up this morning my tongue was swollen and red and sore. It's not quite as bad as it was earlier but it is still sore when I lift my tongue.

Also, when I eat anything today I've been sick to my stomach. Now I'm scared and embarrassed to ask my doctor. Any advice?

RELAX.

It is almost impossible for an STD to show up so fast and it may either be from something you had before the rimming or from your nerves over what you did.

Rimming is one of the safest sexual acts you can do. You can catch parasites and other STD's including gonorrhea, syphilis, hepatitis and herpes if your partner has it but it is not that common.

HIV does not pass from rimming. Most STD's take at least 3-5 days to show up and many take longer. If you rim someone hard with your tongue you can get irritation from friction as well. I am sure that by the time you read this you are feeling fine, so relax.

If you still can't relax go to a doctor. If you don't think you can discuss your sexuality then don't feel the need to. Just say you were having oral sex--straight men do it too.

Take care.

i have to disagree with "rimming is safe" statement, since when is it fun to get penicillin shots in your ass or go on 2 rounds of oral antibiotic-diarhetic inducers for 2 mos! i'm sorry, th...

Also, HPV can be transmitted thru rimming (or for that matter, any sort of oral sex). 40% of oral cancers is caused by HPV. Not a good thing.......
